For pilgrims looking to include Muktinath in their Kailash Yatra, we offer flexible options tailored to your travel preferences. The Muktinath tour can be arranged by flights or helicopter.
For those opting for flights, the journey includes Kathmandu to Pokhara and back, as well as Pokhara to Jomsom and return. Alternatively, a direct helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Muktinath and back is available, taking approximately 4-5 hours. This option is ideal for Kailash Yatra pilgrims seeking a quicker and more convenient journey. A minimum of five passengers is required to share the helicopter cost, and if fewer passengers are available, the remaining cost will need to be covered by the pilgrims.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
We arrive in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, landing at Tribhuvan International Airport. A warm welcome awaits as we make our way to the hotel and settle in. The journey might have been long, so the rest of the day is yours to relax, unwind, and soak in the calm after the excitement of travel.
As the evening unfolds, you might feel like stepping out to explore. A gentle stroll through the lively streets of Thamel can be a delightful start, with its charming shops, cozy cafes, and inviting restaurants. For a touch of culture, the tranquil Garden of Dreams or the iconic Swayambhunath, known as the Monkey Temple, offers a peaceful escape. The choice is yoursâease into the rhythm of this beautiful city at your own pace.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara
The morning begins with a peaceful visit to the revered Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal’s holiest sites dedicated to Lord Shiva. After a hearty breakfast, we step into this sacred space to witness the profound rituals and ceremonies that take place along the banks of the Bagmati River. It’s a moment of quiet reflection and reverence, offering a glimpse into the deep spiritual traditions of Nepal.
Later, we head to the airport for a short, scenic flight to Pokhara, a city known for its stunning natural beauty. The 25-minute journey offers breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayan range, setting the tone for the serene landscapes ahead. Upon arrival, we check into the hotel and spend the evening at the charming Lakeside area. A leisurely walk around Phewa Lake, a serene boat ride, or exploring the vibrant local cafes adds a touch of tranquility to the day, leaving you refreshed and ready for more adventures.

Day 3: Pokhara to Jomsom & Muktinath
The day starts with a short and scenic morning flight to Jomsom, a beautiful town in the Mustang region. The 20-minute flight gives stunning views of snow-covered mountains. Once we land, the cool mountain air and peaceful surroundings welcome us.
From Jomsom, we drive to Muktinath, one of Nepalâs holiest places. Here, we visit the sacred Muktinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Many take a holy bath under the 108 water spouts, believed to cleanse the soul. After this special experience, we head to Kagbeni, a small village known for its unique culture and stunning views. You can explore the village and visit its monasteries.
In the evening, we return to Jomsom for an overnight stay, resting after a day filled with spiritual and scenic beauty.

Day 4: Jomsom to Pokhara & Kathmandu
The day begins with a morning flight back to Pokhara, a quick 20-minute journey offering one last glimpse of the majestic mountains. From Pokhara, we continue our journey with another flight to Kathmandu, returning to the vibrant capital.
In the afternoon, we visit the iconic Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest stupas in Nepal. This serene space, a hub for Tibetan Buddhism, invites moments of peace and quiet reflection amidst its spiritual energy.
As evening approaches, you can revisit the revered Pashupatinath Temple to witness the beautiful Aarti ceremonyâa captivating and spiritual experience. Alternatively, you may explore other nearby temples, letting the day end on a peaceful and uplifting note.
